Future Students - Conditions of Admission

A candidate wanting to apply to the program must:

Hold a Masters degree, with an average grade of at least 3,2 on 4,3 (or the equivalent), of a degree or experience recognized as its equivalent in one of the disciplines associated to the program, either in the humanities (education, linguistics, philosophy, psychology, communication and management), or in computer science.

To apply:

The candidate can apply at any time, by submitting, besides the documents required by the Registrar:

  • a research project draft of about 2 pages describing as much the computer as the cognitie aspects of the projected project

  • three recommendation letters as specified in the University's requirements

  • the name of the research supervisors consulted.

Evaluation of the application:

The application is evaluated by the SCAE (the Sub-Committee for Admission and Evaluation), who will examine the academic history and/or pertinent past professional experience of the candidate, the recommendation letters, the mention of potential research supervisors and the preliminary thesis project draft proposed.
